Why is it important?

An increase in production and utilization of cassava has brought with it the release of huge quantities of wastes to the environment. Cassava peels are the major waste produced during cassava processing. Cassava peels are a potential alternative fertilizer source for the farmers which can be sold or used by the farmers for crop production. This study contribute to valorize the cassava waste.
