What is it about?
Jung was not a feminist in a straightforward sense and this book critiques Jung's sexism and limitations on gender. However Jung did have a big cultural project: to recover the lost and marginalized feminine for modernity. This project deserves a better look.

Why is it important?
Jung from a feminist perspective is important if we are to build on his work for the 21st century and for re-imagining gender in depth.
Perspectives
My perspective is that Jung's value for a more socially just, ecologically sustainable future is still in the making.
