Benefit corporations are unnecessary and risky

What is it about?

This article lays out the case why benefit corporations are not a good idea and that the people lobbying to create this type of organization in various states in the US have a conflict of interest.

Why is it important?

The idea of a benefit corporation is quite compelling. The reality is that there is no good reason to bifurcate for-profit corporations into two categories.
