Perspectives

During the post revolution era the emphasis on equity and universal access specially in most remote areas have been the driver of the establishment of Iran's primary health care net work which resulted in dramatic reduction of many communicable diseases. The system needs renewal for the new challenges specially for noncommunicable diseases and health financing .
