What is it about?
The paper concerns cross-border cooperation of Poland and Germany in the field of internal security, i.e. at the local level, since the signing of the Treaty on Good Neighbourliness and Friendly Cooperation between Poland and the Federal Republic of Germany of 17 June 1991. Furthermore, the challenges for cross-border cooperation between the two states were presented and analysed.

It was assumed that the main challenges in the field of cross-border cooperation between Poland and Germany are related to ensuring internal security at the local community level.
Perspectives
