We design an airway-aware protection mechanism against Jamming Attacks on the IoD

Why is it important?
The Jamming Attack (JA) poses a severe risk to IoD, affecting the drone’s trajectory. Although JA has been investigated in UAV-based networks, the current solutions consider the airspace free to fly, whereas IoD allows drones to fly over constrained airspace. Our solution overcomes these challenges.
Perspectives
Our experiments pointed out that our solution is a proper protection mechanism to avoid drones suffering a JA since they fly over airways in a responsive time, decreasing the number of jammed drones. Hence, this study advances the protection mechanisms for IoD.
