What is it about?
We examined publications from a major Norwegian hospital during a 10-year period, with the purpose of studying the place of case reports and case series.

Why is it important?
We found that approx 2% were case reports or case seriries. Although the proportion of case reports was small, we believe they still play an important role in Medical publishing.
Perspectives
Case reports still have a place in Medical publishing.
