What is it about?

Agrochemicals are used by farmers in Southeast Nigeria to increase crop yields, however, farmers are often unable to read instructions for their usage and application, increasing the risk of exposures to humans and the environment.

Why is it important?

We found that farmers use Agrochemicals to increase productivity but most of the farmers had low levels of education and were unable to read instructions for agrochemical use, therefore increasing the likelihood of agrochemical misuse and exposure to them.

Perspectives

Writing this article was all inspiring and the result will go along we in enlightening us of the little actions we take as individuals either at home or elsewhere which could be dangerous to us, our neighbors and the environment.
