What is it about?
The Museum will serve as an international educational establishment, presenting the history of development and implementation of seismic isolation. It will display exhibits from countries worldwide, where various seismic isolation systems have been successfully applied to buildings and structures. The museum will serve as a platform for acknowledging new solutions in earthquake engineering and will inspire young scientists and engineers to embrace seismic isolation and further its research and implementation.

Why is it important?
The Museum building itself is unique as it will have the shape of the giant seismic isolator. The Museum is unique as nowhere else in the world such collection of various technologies which makes structures highly reliable could be found. This conditions the importance of the Museum and its role in dissemination of knowledge on creation of the earthquake-proof structures.
Perspectives
This article presents the author's dream as he put enormous efforts in development and implementation of seismic isolation technologies not only in his country - Armenia, but also world-wide.
