This article describes the findings of a research study about the coping and readiness strategies of a sample of business leaders in Nigeria working in turbulent environments.

The study findings may contribute to positive social change by providing strategies for organizational sustainability, firm success, business readiness, responsive leadership, and enhanced employee well-being.
Perspectives
From my perspective as a dissertation committee member and contributing author, this qualitative study, conducted and written primarily by a Nigerian PhD student and recent doctoral graduate, has broad application to organizational leaders working in volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous business environments everywhere.
