What is it about?

This paper examines the empirical validity of CSV strategies suggested by Porter and Kramer. By way of conducting 4 case analyses, it establishes that the strategies possess explanatory power for success of business models. While two of the case business models analyzed were successful, two of them were either moderately successful or a failure. Based on the case analyses, a research model is proposed for future investigation.
