What is it about?

To propose a conceptual and methodological framework for the combination of GIS and a weighted sum method, adapted to vector data, in a single coherent system that takes into account the whole process from the acquisition of spatially referenced data to decision making.

Why is it important?

A spatial decision support system for developing land suitability maps for agriculture has been developed. It incorporates a multicriteria method characterized by an additive aggregation of criteria by weighted summation, based on spatial analysis, namely the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method, in GIS.

I hope this article is kind of interesting and maybe even exciting and I hope it will lead researchers contacting me for an improvment of this research.
