In order to prepare school counselors-in-training for the profession, school counselor site supervisors of interns are expected to guide, model and address developmental issues for aspiring candidates in the field. Effective supervision needs to start with increasing the self-efficacy of school counselor sites supervisors of interns in addressing the professional deficits of interns. This study presents a school counseling supervision model and training that has been proven to be effective in building self-efficacy in school counselor site supervisors of interns.
