Why is it important?

many patients suffer from infection after fracture either due to open fracture or as a complication of surgical treatment. this paper present different techniques to achieve faster healing with less complications.

Perspectives

comfort of the patient is very important and short duration of treatment is needed in cases we treat . we treat many complex cases like infection, nonunion, deformed or short bone , or congenital deformity. and in many cases external fixation is the only way to achieve good result. That is why we have special interest in mechanical and biological tools to achieve short duration of treatment with high success .
