What is it about?
Students should not be deprived from their right to access higher educational opportunities due to their low performance in an entry test which really has nothing to do with their specialization subjects. This study investigates perceived difficulties of an entry test (English) given to post-foundation level Omani students.

Why is it important?
Becasue a large number of post-foundation students fail in the entry test which poses difficulties for them to cope with. This is not fair and the concerned authorities do not take any action but they continue to conduct it every semester. The concerned authorities should revise the entry test and find out why it is hard for test takers.
