What is it about?
This text is based on a survey including over 2.000 households in Ecuador regarding the effects of Covid-19 and the government's protection measures. With it, we can understand further the social impacts of Covid-19 in the Global South. The main topics are how people inform themselves on both disease and measures, how they build knowledge from this information, and what emotions result.
