Association of Urinary Urgency and Delay Time of Micturition in Women With Overactive Bladder

What is it about?

I have needed to identify the objective tools to distinguish the scale of urinary urgency(sudden, compelling urge to urinate). Nowaday, urologist generally used questionnaire about urinary urgency or visual scale etc. Therefore, I checked a delay time(objective method) to micturition to identify severity of feelings in urinary urgency.

Why is it important?

It can be more accurately reflected the phenomenon using a numerical objective rather than subjective assessments. Thus, "delay time to micturition" help to determine the degree of the treatment and the diagnosis criteria in patients with urinary urgency.
