Why is it important?

The fundamental importance derived from this essay is that it provides key elements for rethinking the sociology of consumption and work in the context of the digital economy.

Perspectives

The paper tries to put order and identify the new forms of consumption generated in the framework of the digital economy, as well as to identify a series of key aspects that are modified, not always in the way that the discourses of the companies coming from the digital environment predict.
