What is it about?

The study answered three questions: What constitutes design ability and design expertise in architecture? Which categories of design expertise can be identified amongst architecture students? And, which factors predict the levels of expertise?

Little is known about what constitutes design expertise and which factors can be addressed for a student to move from one level of expertise to the other

Perspectives

This has been one eye-opener, revealing that family support and motivation are also valuable in improving expertise development
