What is it about?

Leadership succession is a significant challenge for many family businesses. Family business succession is often complicated by the interplay between family (“nonbusiness”) and business considerations, and by a weak leadership pipeline. Accordingly, we present a framework for executive coaching within the family business environment taking into consideration the key unique feature of family businesses that could assist family businesses facing leadership transition challenges.
