What is it about?

This chapter sets out to develop and explore some of the implications for HRM posed by the Working Lives (WL) findings in the context of wider studies and from the perspective of human resource management. The Working Lives research was based within Higher and Further Education and considers the effects of rising managerialism and hyperprofessionality in academic life.
