Many people who were braces find it extremely difficult to brush properly. A small bottle-brush like brush is available in the market. We studied if the use of this small brush along with regular tooth brush and tooth paste can help people with braces or not.

Why is it important?
If people with braces do not brush properly they end up with gum disease later in their life and teeth which has been arranged beautifully can lose its charm. Teeth start moving and become crooked. If a small task like using an additional inter dental tooth brush can prevent gum problem, it is worth the effort
Perspectives
We have noticed in our clinical practice that years after undergoing treatment with braces, many people come back with a complaint of spaces opening up or abnormal teeth movement. In our study, using a simple tool like inter-dental tooth brush along with regular tooth brush can help people wearing braces. It is available for throw away prices in market.
