Why is it important?

There is very little written on "permission to play" in adults, though the benefits are clear.

Perspectives

I'm currently doing a lot more work on enabling play in adults, but this shows how my thoughts are developing and is a short, easy way into thinking about the topic. If you want to become more playful in your work or teaching, it could be worth a look!
