Perspectives
I originally planned this book as a textbook version of The Translator's Turn; fortunately, as I worked on it, it changed shape pretty dramatically, especially in response to my reading of Dinda L. Gorlee's 1994 book on Peirce and translation, which I was reviewing: when I found her discussion of the instinct-experience-habit triad (which I later found she had gotten wrong), the whole book shifted into that shape.
