The Efficacy of Conventional Spray, Electrostatic Spray, and Dip with a Combination of Hydrogen Peroxide and Peroxyacetic Acid to Inactivate Listeria monocytogenes on Apples

What is it about?

We evaluated the efficacy of a peroxyacetic-acid and H2O2 mixer delivered by conventional garden sprayer, electrostatic sprayer and dip methods to inactivate Listeria monocytogenes on apples. We found that the mixer is very effective to control the pathogen using dip method and its mechanism may be for disrupt cell outer member system.
