What is it about?

Listeria monocytogenes is an important food-borne pathogen, responsible for listeriosis in humans. There is a limited knowledge about this pathogen in Romanian food products. Within this study we demonstrated that the raw meat, the ready-to-eat and dairy products can be sources of this pathogen, and the isolates exhibited multidrug resistance highlighting a potential threat to public health.
