What is it about?

The objective of this study was to evaluate the efficacy of an autogenous in mitigating Salmonella prevalence in lymph nodes of feedlot cattle in Texas. Salmonella-positive LNs were only recovered from control cattle, which did not receive vaccinations. Although not conclusive, results suggest that non-vaccinated cattle housed in common with or adjacent to vaccinated cattle may benefit from the protection provided to vaccinated cattle.
