What is it about?

Language and Liberty is a principle (theory) about the interlacing between language and liberty as it relates to law, politics, health, societal values and other domains of social life. It identifies how and to what extent language is used to expresses liberty and how liberty is actualized via language.

Why is it important?

Issues about liberty have been discussed in law and politics without attention to how these are actualized through language. This study brings together linguistics, law, political science, healthcare and how they are entwined with language and acts as a pathway to those seeking liberty.

Perspectives

I hope that this publication will amplify the concept of liberty by helping readers to understand its various tenets, how it is denied to others via language and how it is fought for linguistically and discursively.
