What is it about?

Online journals (e-journals) are fast becoming a familiar feature with Religious Studies scholars, but so far no e-journals in the field have appeared in South Africa, and contributions by South African scholars are still rare. It then proceeds to examine a sample of open-access e-journals relevant to Religious Studies and considers the factors inhibiting South African scholars from participating in publishing in, and creating open-access e-journals.
