Optimization of Broadband Microwave Amplifiers

What is it about?

This short paper presents the concept of particle swarm optimization technique applied for the design of broadband microwave amplifiers. The method that is developed is based on Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) technique applied to a compensated matching network on a single stage transistor amplifier to get the best optimized result in the design. To prove the concept four different operating points were considered on the microwave amplifier design.
