What is it about?

Muscle cramps can be nasty. There is no treatment available, all treatments from the past seemed not to work or not safe. Palmitoylethanolamide is a natural compound, available as a supplement as capsules and tablets. Patients suffering from muscle cramps were very much better after taking PEA (3 times 400 mg capsules/daily).

Why is it important?

There is no treatment available for muscle cramps, but many people experience these, especially during the night. We present cases were people had a lot of benefit from PEA capsules (we always work with capsules marked by the PEA-opt quality mark, because for these capsules we know the blood level rises after intake and these are safe and effective).

Treating pain and muscle cramps with a natural compound (autacoid) is a whole new inroad, because we now use the body's own natural healing pathways. Palmitoylethanolamide, easy to obtain as a supplement, is a representative of a new way of treating, we call this Autacoid Medicine.
