fungal infection is very common in immunocompemised patients , but when it infects immunocompetent adult that too affects madiastinal lymph nodes diagnosis is very confusing lymphoma is always suspected therefore histopathology is very important for diagnosis.

correct diagnosis and early treatment is mandatory to reduce mortality as surgical intervention may be required.
Perspectives
i very rarely see such a case in day to day practice as chest physician therefore a high level of suspicion is required to diagnose and treat such cases.
