What is it about?
In this editorial, our view on successful transfer of assays between an external laboratory and our own, but also between our laboratories in Europe and the USA is discussed. We present our perspective on the differences between laboratories and how to deal with it to prevent failure. The differences can largely be divided in three categories: instrumental settings, materials and laboratory conditions. The differences are described and possible solutions presented.
