What is it about?
The authors evaluated a therapeutic approach for metastatic colorectal cancer through the pharmacological modulation of the Hedgehog pathway activity. The effect was evaluated in a mouse model that allowed for the analysis of tumor progression and for mapping metastatic tumor cell dissemination via bioluminescence imaging.
