This retrospective study has shown that use of Homoeopathic medicine Ruta graveolens in 3C potency in BD dose for 2 years helped to control progression of Childhood myopia and its controlling effect remains even after stopping the treatment.

By controlling progression of Childhood myopia, we can reduce a financial burden on parents due to frequent change of glasses or contact lenses and keep patient in a Low myopic state so that we can prevent vision threatening complications associated with higher grade of myopia
Perspectives
This problem is a burning issue world over and controlling Childhood myopia is a great need. Homoeopathic medicines are safe, effective and easy to administered so children do take it regularly. Thus use of Homoeopathic Ruta in such cases is a good alternative for the treatment of Childhood Myopia progression.
