Why is it important?

Prescribing an anti inflammatory drug (NSAID), well before the inflammatory response induced by orthodontic force is more useful for patients undergoing fixed appliance therapy. The patients will feel either no pain or less pain, if we follow the protocol explained in the article.

Perspectives

Personally using the protocol in my orthodontic practice. Really satisfied and appreciated, whenever my patients ask me the following question "Dr , How is it possible for you alone to do painless orthodontics?, where as my friends suffer a lot with pain, after appliance activation." Nothing tricky, follow simple protocol given in the article.
