What is it about?
This article describe the results of a surgery to control glaucoma. In this type of surgery, known as shunting procedure, a drainage device is implanted and help to 'shunt' the aqueous humor from within the eye to a reservoir on the surface of globe and beneath the conjunctiva. We reported our results in Iranian patients.

This is important, not only because glaucoma is a popular disease with devastating visual impairment, but also because there is a large variation in its nature based on ethnicity and there are few reports on AGV success rate in this geographical region.
