What is it about?

This article explains a non reported cause of benign intracranial hypertension or pseudo tumour cerebri. The cause was suspected to be clarithromycin and after withdrawal of the medication the symptoms subsided and did not return.

There was very good correlation with offending agent and symptoms. When the medication was stopped there was no further return of symptoms for more than 1 year. This is important because it highlights the importance of history taking and importance of scrutinising every detail carefully.
