malignant tumour in posterior thigh arising from major nerve in children is very rare.It may mimmick other benign swellings like infected hemangioma, even on CECT scan.Diagnosis may therefore be delayed. we excised this tumour and nerve grafting was done from peroneal nerve. histopathology reported ewing's sarcoma.

Why is it important?
Deep Posterior thigh swelling of long term should be viewed with caution. It may be malignant. Ewings tumour at this site is not reported in children. Repair with peroneal nerve graft is not reported at this age
