What is it about?

A common and usually harmless resident virus can be dangerous when reactivated under certain conditions. However, a load of the virus in body fluids and its genetic properties matter a lot.

Why is it important?

The virus is reactivated when the subject is immunocompromised, however here we see that unknown conditions and /or prevalent lifestyle of the tribal people working in tea gardens may also contribute to the viral reactivation.
