What is it about?
Occupational hearing impairment depends on energetic component of the noise. Nevertheless, when workers have to select acoustic signals with low energy (up to 65 dBA) and their work is characterized high work intensity we can observe occupational hearing loss. Possibly, such effects depend on spectral characteristics of noise.

Why is it important?
Obtained results require new approaches in the noise standardization and occupational risks assessment. We can't explain occupational hearing impairment of workers who work at the noise level less than 65 dBA from the energy noise conception.
