What is it about?
This article uses retrospective case study method to assess the impact of forensic evidence on judicial outcomes in India. The findings states that the forensic evidence has moderately positive correlation with the judicial outcomes of the case. Further, the Courts commuted the accused's sentence based on inconsistent forensic reports and acquitted based on mishandled forensic reports.
