What is it about?

By means of Mossbauer spectroscopy non-equivalence of two B-site iron ions for the first time for greigite was revealed. It was established that the easy magnetization axis for greigite is <111>. Some fundamental magnetic properties of greigite were investigated and crytical temperature of greigite structural stability (240 oC) was obtained.
