What is it about?

The review provides an in-depth summary of progress made so far in the development, characterization and advanced applications of chalcogenide nanometres. An in-depth and critical analysis of various synthesis strategies are presented which provides clear understanding of how to control the size and shapes of nanomaterials. In addition, the recently developed single molecular precursor method is dealt with in some details with several examples from authors group . A number of characterization techniques to obtain the physicochemical properties useful for their applications in imaging and other application are presented with appropriate examples especially the role of Raman spectroscopy in manoarticle research.
