What is it about?
To investigate the compressive strength of concrete and water absorption rate of concrete made from POFA. To compare the strength and absorption rate between conventional concrete and concrete made from POFA.

Why is it important?
The results of this research are the specimens which contain 20% POFA has a compressive strength and water absorption rate comparable to conventional concrete. This result could reduce the rate of pollution to the environment and reduce the cost of construction project through the replacement of palm oil fuel ash as the partial cement replacement in concrete mixture.
