Why is it important?
Hot Press Forming is an important new development particularly in the automotive industry. It can significantly contribute to mass reduction and simultaneously reducing the harmful emission while the crashworthiness is increased leading to more safe vehicles providing much more economical, environmental,and customer friendly production.
Perspectives
Though this process already industrially applied, matured process, there are still many challenges to study and solve.
