What is it about?

Amorphous-Carbon/Zn actuate as a solid-marker, solid-lubricant and solid-catalyst. The paper show that in addition to previous features it can contribute machine performance changing the thermal conductivity of fuel ou biofuel, alcohol.

Why is it important?

Alcohol is a polar liquid. Properties of polar liquid are modified by another polar liquid. A solid that can modify specific property of the polar liquid open a broad set of technological possibilities.

Distinct compositions and particle size should allow new close materials that can increase the performance of fuel, biofuel or machines.
