What is it about?

New materials based on the development of multi-functional solid solution. These new material can exibihits ferroelectric, semiconductor, luminiscent, thermal properties, catalytic and photocatalitic. In a broad sense, properties emerge on the nanometric particles.

Multi function can be engineered, but most interesting is the possibility of properties modulation by composiytion tailoring or temperatrure.

Perspectives

A new class of material with great potential can be highlighted based on a host structure based on a niobate with Tetragonal Tungsten Bronze structure.
