Preparation of biocompatible coatings (TiN and TiN / TiO2 on Ti-5Al-4V ). Obtain successful sterilization prior to human cell biocompatibility testing.

Why is it important?
Implant compatibility is a common problem in the human body. We are looking for an option where this compatibility will be the most durable in time. This is achieved at this stage by using a biocompatible base (Ti-5Al-4V) with a PVD coating of TiN / TiO2. The additional sterilization enables the initial compatible implant reception.
Perspectives
Biological studies of the coatings are forthcoming.
