What is it about?
Surface roughness of of natural fiber is the main key to improve bonds with composite matrix. Immersion in seawater had improve the roughness of palm fibers by cleans up outer layer of the fiber. 4 hours immersion gave the best result of bonding strength between the fiber and matrix.

Perspectives
As green material become more popular today, research could be extended by another variables of natural matrix variables,, and to be tested for their resulted mechanical properties.
